Richard’s passion to reach the lost began when he was only nineteen. His zeal for to win others to Christ launched him into evangelism as a teenager! Richard served as a full-time evangelist conducting weekend crusades while in Bible College!

This same passion compelled him to revive the church by planting a multi-cultural church that broke racial, social, and economic barriers…in the South! That led to multiple church & missionary plants that have the same passion for the worldwide harvest. This journey of forty years has gifted him to develop church expansion and growth strategies that equip, inspire, and develop an evangelism mindset in churches and leaders. His message provokes culture change. As a “pastor to pastors”, Richard mentors, inspires, & counsels pastors and ministry leaders in multiplied churches and Para-church ministries.

Family is HFM’s middle name! Richard met his wife, Theresa, in a revival meeting. In ministry forty years and married thirty seven of those years, Richard & Theresa love to share the principles of marriage and family that carried them through the “ups & downs” of a life-long love. They know that God can restore the family! Three children and ten grandchildren later, family is what it’s all about! Dr. Hilton is a board certified pastoral counselor (I.B.C.C. & A.A.C.C.) and together, he and Theresa share in Marriage & Family, Men’s & Women’s conferences, retreats, and gatherings.
